How an IVF Clinic in Kochi Generated 58 First Consultations in 3 Days With Just Meta Ads
No guesswork: a 3-tier funnel built on patient psychology.
Client snapshot
IVF and fertility clinic in Kochi, Kerala. A category where the product isn't a service, it's hope, handled carefully.
The story, in my words
Fertility marketing is unlike almost anything else we work on. You're not selling a treatment, you're asking someone to trust you with one of the most emotionally loaded decisions of their life. I've seen agencies run "book your consultation today" ads to cold audiences in this space, and it almost never works, not because the offer is bad, but because you're asking for commitment before you've earned trust. It's like proposing marriage on a first hello.
When this clinic came to us, they'd tried performance ads before with underwhelming results. The instinct was to blame the creative or the targeting. We looked at the sequence instead, or rather, the complete absence of one.
The strategy: a 3-tier Meta ads funnel
We built the funnel around how a person actually moves from "I might have a fertility issue" to "I'm ready to sit across from a doctor": three distinct psychological stages, three distinct ad tiers.
- Sensitization tier. No ask here at all. Just content addressing the fears, myths, and unspoken anxieties around fertility treatment, the things patients think but don't say out loud. This tier's only job is familiarity.
- Social proof tier. Served only to people who'd engaged with tier one. Real patient journeys, outcome-oriented storytelling, because at this stage the question in someone's mind isn't "does IVF work," it's "will it work for someone like me."
- Lead generation tier. The actual consultation booking ask, served exclusively to the audience that had already moved through sensitization and proof. By the time someone saw this ad, they weren't cold. They were ready.
What happened
Within a 3-day window, this funnel drove 58 first-consultation bookings, not from a broad cold audience, but from people who'd already been walked through sensitization and shown proof before they were ever asked to commit.
Campaign executed and measured: February 2026.
The honest takeaway
In categories this emotionally sensitive, sequence beats spend every time. The clinic didn't need a bigger budget. They needed their audience to arrive at the "book now" ad already halfway convinced.
